Register records Illinois and Michigan Canal Trustees interest and partial principal payments made to bond holders for bonds 3365-3486, for the subscription period June 28, 1845-May 1, 1846 (bondholder or legal representative payment acknowledgement signatures do not indicate actual payment date). Entries include subscriber name; first thru third installment payment dates, amounts and interest accurals to September 20, 1848; issued bond certificate serial numbers; fourth installment amount and final principal payment to subscribers or legal representatives with their receipts acknowledging interest and 6% of the prinicipal payment.
